Strength

Yesterday, the Lord told me that He wanted to talk to me about strength. I was literally searching His word ALL DAY looking for what He wanted His people to know about strength. I'm not going to type out every Scripture reference (there are a massive amount of them) but I will tell you where to look. This will allow you to take the time to seek the Lord for yourself on the subject of strength. I came up with a list of 25 ways to gain strength from the Lord and 13 promises to those who gain strength from the Lord.

Judges 6-7 (specifically 7:2)
#1) We gain strength from bringing glory to the Lord

1 Chronicles 16:11
#2) We gain strength from our pursuit of God

Psalm 18:1
#3) We find strength in loving God

Psalm 21:3
#4) We gain strength in the midst of our praise and worship

Psalm 59:9
#5) We gain strength in waiting upon the Lord

Psalm 78:4
#6) We gain strength in proclaiming the Lord's goodness

Judges 13-16 (The Life of Samson)
#7) We gain strength when we place ourselves under God's covering and authority
#8) We gain strength from living a consecrated, set apart lifestyle
#9) We gain strength in keeping the Lord's secrets and statutes (Chapter 16)
#10) We gain strength when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us (Judges 14:9)

Proverbs 24:5

THAT LIST WAS HOW WE FIND STRENGTH FROM THE LORD. Now, if we do the things contained in that list, here is a list of promises that are made to us from the Word of God.

The one who receives strength from the Lord:

3) OBTAINS CLEAR DIRECTION (Psalm 23:3)
4) WILL BE PROTECTED (Isaiah 12:2)
5) WILL BE DELIVERED (Isaiah 30:15)
6) WILL RISE UP (Isaiah 40:31)
7) WILL RUN WITHOUT GROWING WEARY (Isaiah 40:31)
8) WILL WALK THE PATH WITHOUT GETTING TIRED (Isaiah 40:31)
9) WILL BE REFRESHED AND PRODUCE REFRESHING WATER (Isaiah 58:11)
10) WILL OPERATE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF GOD (Micah 5:4)
11) WILL ENABLE PEOPLE TO LIVE SECURELY IN THE LORD (Micah 5:4)
12) WILL BE ABLE TO PASS THROUGH DIFFICULT SITUATIONS (Habakkuk 3:19)
13) WILL HAVE DOORS OPENED TO THEM (Revelation 3:8)
